Zelenskyy Meets NATO Chief to Boost Air Defense Support for Ukraine
"Ukraine deeply values every country’s contribution. We are counting on continued funding for this initiative, which enables us to purchase missiles for air defense systems," Zelenskyy said during the meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
The conversation also addressed efforts to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities through European joint ventures. Zelenskyy expressed appreciation for the "highly productive" Ramstein-format meeting, where partners confirmed €38 billion in military aid for Ukraine.
At the conference, Zelenskyy highlighted European unity as the "best interceptor" against security threats and emphasized that elections in Ukraine should only occur two months after a ceasefire with Russia is established.
